Finished the fanart I was doing of Thanos from Squid Games, added some really basic animations with Canva

Really happy with how this one came out in the end, I feel like I’ve gotten a lot better since last year. Anywho, apart from the Bee Liner Brush I downloaded once which I used for the line art, I used one of the basic procreate inking pens, and then the basic soft airbrush for the highlights.

What I do is, the whole figure has a block of colour underneath, when I have the shadows added, I duplicate the block colour layer, then I select the shadow layer and go on the block colour layer and extract the shadow shapes from the block colour layer (which leaves me with all of the value that hasn’t got shadows) then I select the block colour layer (make it invisible) make a new layer with the setting changed to add, choose a lighter colour for the highlights and airbrush them on.

Dunno if that makes any sense to anyone, but if you can figure it out it’s a pretty easy way to add highlights to your drawing haha.

Animations just done with default options on Canva, just wanted to make it more playful.
