Playing emerald on an emulator

I never played the Pokémon games before but had the cards and got back into because of the new mobile app and wanted to play the actual games.

Right now my team is Aron lvl 24, combusken lvl 32, gyarados lvl 25, Kirlia lvl 20 and makuhita lvl 17. I have a kadabra at like lvl 19 but I’m worried about evolving him because I can’t trade. Does anyone know if there’s a way to evolve kadabra without trading/on a rom. Who should my 6th be?
