[OPINION] What's your thoughts on Wendy Cope?

I know nothing about her personal life, but just by reading her poems, I have mixed feelings:

Even though her poems have a nice rhythm and the flow smoothly and the topics are interesting and not over-used by other poets, I feel like she rarely uses poetic techniques. It almost feels like her poerty could be prose, but just because she writes with meter and rhyme it classifies as poetry.

I just want to know what do you think of her works?
