Formal dresses?

Where are y’all finding plus size formal gowns?

I’m a bridesmaid and the color is black (only specifics are no sequins and no off the shoulder). My normal clothing style is pretty bold and out there, so of course I’m going more muted since I’m a bridesmaid but I still want a dress with some design elements that show my personality. So far, I’ve found nothing really. I am willing to spend a couple hundred on a dress, but the dress options on the sites I’ve been looking at (Azazie, Lulu’s, Birdy Grey, Revolve, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Anthropologie) just seem kind of basic to me. I even tried on about five dresses from Azazie and Lulu’s and all of them fell really flat.

Any tips or recommendations are appreciated!
