Crossed thread the female connection of my plastic RV Tank
I have a 75-gallon water tank (https://www.amazon.com/Customs-Gallon-Concession-Holding-T-7500-PUMP/dp/B08DL7681Z?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref\_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ANNYFJC2Y5PU4&gQT=1) which I accidentally cross thread on the female connection which is causing a leak. How can I fix this?
I was thinking of getting another plastic male connection and using plumbing cement to connect permanently, but I worry about leaks. I am trying to avoid buying a new water tank but can't think of better options.
I am a DIYer, so I would appreciate any advice you can give me.
Note: this will be a pressurized line so Teflon tape won't work
