Condensate leak on interior floor of Navien water heater

Hi all, I know these things often leak from the O-ring on the condensate trap, but this is a little different. When the outdoor humidity is high, I seem to have condensate building up inside the unit (which then leaks out of the unit and onto the ground from the area around the condensate trap). It's only a few tablespoons per day, when it happens, but it's quite annoying.

Can't tell where it's coming from for the life of me -- everything is dry above the floor of the unit.

I have tried changing the condensate trap O-ring, which did not help. The condensate drain line is clear and flows outdoors freely if I turn on the bleeder valve.

Thanks for any ideas / guesses!

Note water on the clip too -- above the o-ring area
