What is this??

I’ve been having terrible hot water pressure issues on only my kitchen sink. I finally decided to check the supply line as the cold was still high pressure. The big came out of the valve and was stuck in the supply line. The small piece was lodged in the downstream end of the supply line.

Are these mineral deposits? Or a worrying piece of plastic…?
