Discovered a bug with cakes

Normal behavior: When making basic chocolate cakes, you must add sugar, flour, and a cracked egg to a bowl and mix, then add melted chocolate. You then transfer the contents of the mixing bowl to a cake pan to bake. When you do so, the bowl becomes empty and can be put back on the bowl rack or used again immediately to mix more cake batter.

More normal behavior: When you have 2 identical cake pans (cookie pans, brownie trays, etc.) and neither are full, you can transfer from one to the other so that one pan has all of the cakes (until it is full, with the leftovers remaining on the original pan). This is useful to empty one tray to go make more cake while still serving from the other.

BUGGED BEHAVIOR: If you try to add cake batter from a mixing bowl to a cake pan that has cooked cakes on it but is not full, doing so will add one cake to the pan but DELETES THE MIXING BOWL. For example, if you have 2 cookies remaining on a pan and interact with it while holding a mixing bowl full of batter, a 3rd cooked cookie will appear on the tray, but the mixing bowl will vanish.

I discovered this while using a heavily automated setup and accidentally sending a tray that still had brownies on it back through my automated production line. Because the mixing bowl disappears in this process, I ran out of mixing bowls and was thus unable to make any more cakes and lost. OT Day 17 :(
