Should I upgrade to an R7 5700X3d

Hi there, I need some help! Im currently running a R5 5500 at 4.45Ghz (OC) whit a Rx6600, a B550 Gaming X V2 Mobo, 32Gbs 3600mhz Ram and a 120mm AIO ROG cooler. Should I keep my R5 that plays the things that i want smootlhy or should I go Up with the R7 5700X3d and Change the GPU later for a RX7600XT? I wanna Know cuz i dont want to build a brand new pc for the next years to come
