Help me grow some pawpaws

So I'm planning on foraging some pawpaws in the coming weeks as soon as the fruit ripens. I want to try my hand at starting some trees from the seeds. I have my eye on two different location so far I can sorce the fruit when it is ripe. I'm a novice so I can't really tell what variety they are but I currently live in the NE part of VA. I have read a bit about what I need to do but uf anyone has some step by step advice for me I would appreciate it. I was also wondering if the two different locations would be enough to help them be genetically different enough to produce fruit. I also am planning on starting them in pots hopefully for a few years until I move and they can be planted in the ground. Any advice?
