Out of curiosity, do you mums constantly worry you’re neglecting your child?
I have an obsessive thought that if I sit on my phone, I’m neglecting her, if I’m out with friends talking to them and my daughter is just sitting in the pram, I’m neglecting her, if I’m cooking and I’m not talking to her constantly, I’m neglecting her. I’m just wondering if this is normal as it’s always been in the back of my mind and I’ve realised, I myself was neglected, so I’m wondering if that’s why I’m obsessed with it or if it’s a normal mum thing.
Edit: thank you everyone for your comments, it makes me realise it’s totally normal and that I’m not alone! This is why these forums are so useful :)
