Let's speak about sex!
To all parents,
As a teenager studying at PGC, I feel compelled to address an issue that is spiraling out of control: the lack of proper sex education. It is time for you, as parents, to take responsibility for educating your children about sex, ethics, and respect. If you don’t, they will learn it from someone else—likely a classmate or an ill-informed individual with questionable habits, as happened to me.
This negligence damages mental health. In today's digital era, with just one click, we have unrestricted access to explicit content that can distort young minds and fuel misconceptions. Avoiding conversations about sex is not protection; it is ignorance that breeds deeper problems.
The truth is harsh: children today are engaging in behaviors and encountering realities that are disturbing and alarming. I’ve witnessed it among my peers—things I never thought possible at this age. This is the cost of silence.
Sex education is not just about biology; it’s about teaching respect—for oneself and for others. Failing to address this is like leaving a cancer untreated, allowing it to destroy the moral fabric of our society.
The time to act is now. Please, take this seriously. Educate your children before the world teaches them something far worse.
