“Rolling” daily note?

Hey, wondering if there’s any feature or plugin that would allow for a rolling daily note, such that day 2’s daily note starts with the content of day 1’s, day 3’s starts with day 2’s, and so on. Maybe a plugin to overwrite the daily note template as identical to the latest-edited note in the folder?

Edit for clarity: the reason I’m looking for a function like this is for task management purposes; so i can brain dump and revise the brain dump next day and mark things done or write them off etc.

Also, I haven’t tried this yet, but would the generated daily note format text that corresponds to moment.js formatting? (excuse me if that makes no sense, I have no experience with json. or any code/ing for that matter) I.e. would it be possible to format an embed of {yesterday’s date}?
