What are your Christmas plans?

I live about two hours from my hometown. We always do Christmas Eve on my moms side, Christmas morning with my parents, and Christmas Day on my dads side. So we stay at my parents house on the nights of the 24&25. In years past my husband and I celebrated our own present opening before heading up to my family. (His family is spread all over the US so we typically don’t celebrate with them). I now have a LO and my only sibling doesn’t yet.

This year we are sticking to that plan, but as my baby gets older I always imagined she’d wake up at our house and have our own traditions (pitter patter of feet running to our room to wake us up to open presents, cookies to Santa left out, etc). Idk how that will happen with our current schedule. I’m not sure what the future will look like but I’m just wondering what others do?
