The Lions in the divisional playoff game: what the heck happened?

I'm still scratching my head over how the Lions could have turned the ball over five times. Was it just Goff & Co. not meeting the moment, or were there things Washington did (or Detroit failed to do) that resulted in that outcome? For example, unusual defensive looks by WAS, getting DET in a position where it had to pass and couldn't rely on exotic runs, or other schematic/strategic elements?
