Locos por Juana is a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominated bilingual band, most notably recognized for their energetic live performances and unique fusion of Caribbean funk, Latin and American rhythms. Voted Best Latin Band 2017 by Miami New Times after their sixth studio album Caribe released on October 2016, which debuted at #14 on CMJ New World Chart. The song “Una Foto” was featured on NPR's The Ones That Got Away: Music We Missed 2016. Locos por Juana’s sound is a hybrid that incorporates their heritage and upbringing of Colombian sounds such as cumbia and champeta, and Afro-Colombian rhythms such as mapale and chande. Likewise, musical influences from Miami and the Caribbean islands including reggae, raggamuffin, and dub from Jamaica along with hip-hop, rock, and funk.
