What are some good, serious monster movies?

Im looking for some movies that have the same feel as Pacific Rim, Shin Godzilla, Cloverfield, or Godzilla 2014. Kinda that more serious tone about it, giving a sense of awe and dread, and the monster has a sort of "weight" to its movement. Whether its a foreign film, small producers, literally anything to match that AWESOME energy.
