Players who switched roles, why?

I was a core/mm player before but switched to mage. Particularly love Cecilion when he was released. I switched roles because:

1. Too many people want to play mm/core.
2. I like roaming the map and controlling it, I think of mages as a secondary roam getting kills or gaining the upperhand when ganking other lanes.
3. Too much toxicity when you’re core or mm, when the team loses even if you carry late game/get all objective. You still get flamed.
4. I like Cecilion.
