Need help for build ideas

I found a village in a cherry biome, snow, and plains. I want to build a nice place their but not really sure where to start to make it nice, so far just been redoing paths but thinking about moving the village away from the plains and deeper into the snow biome into the middle where their is a cherry biome clearing surrounded by mountains. Any build tips or recommendations? I mostly like doing medieval build like castle walls and stuff but wanna try something new since it's been a while since I played
