Good Origins for Characters/Teams?

I’ve been wanting to get into the comics as of recent and I really want to get an idea of who the characters are as people. I haven’t watched that many of the movies as I want comics to be my first introduction. If you have any recommendations I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance!
