Advice on First Premium Bag
Fellow baggers, I need your expert advice on choosing a bag that I can take absolutely everywhere such as a diner, dr. visits, and out and about with my family. My current Project Rock backpack is enormous and my TomToc is too small for what I need.
What I intend to bag:
- 14" or 15" MacBook (will be replacing my 13" intel version soon)
- 3-ring binder (1 inch)
- 18 oz yeti rambler
- Case for eye glasses
- Case for sunglasses
- Mouse (MX Master 2S)
- Organization for smaller items (pens, tissue paper, charger, etc.)
Features I would like:
- Water protection for laptop compartment
- Water bottle holder (for my thin Yeti rambler)
- Durable (I don't want to have to replace this after 5 years)
- Not a feature but I'd like a sleek aesthetic (a nice change from my rugged Project Rock and TomToc bags)
My budget is $200 but one of the bags I will mention exceeds that currently by $20 so I can stretch it just a tad for the right bag, but if I can find a good deal on a bag I would be thrilled. I'm liking the Aer aesthetic so far and here are the bags I am currently looking at:
I would greatly appreciate anyone with more insight, especially if you have experience with these bags. I have zero experience with any of these or similar bags from other brands. Help me Uncle Iroh, you're my only hope.
EDIT: The following bags are very interesting. I would love to know what you guys think!
The big downside of the 16L is that it doesn't have a water bottle holder, so that whomps.
