Should Maharashtra change its capital city?

Mumbai is the heart of Maharashtra, full of culture and economic power. But with overcrowding, traffic, and environmental problems, it’s becoming harder to manage.

Should the state consider moving its capital to ease the pressure on Mumbai and spread development more evenly? Cities like Nagpur (already the winter capital), Chharapati Sambhajinagar with its historical and industrial strengths, or Nashik with room to grow could be options.

But building a new capital comes with a huge economic burden. The costs of new infrastructure, government buildings, and relocating administrative functions would be massive.

Would this solve the problem or just create new ones? What are the pros and cons? Share your thoughts!
