Anyone else having issues with games being too zoomed in or not filling the screen?

a huge amount of the games I have tried have issues with either filling the screen (its stuck borderless in the top left corner) or that its so zoomed in I cant see the whole game, or the game and zoom is the right ratio, but for some reason the only the top left is showing and the rest of the screen is blacked out.

the machine is great, when it works, but I feel like most of the time I'm fighting the settings menu more than anything, I don't have to do nearly as much work with my actual pc
