First extended dual carriageway drive, oh boy...

Hey guys, first off thank you so much for all the support on here, if I fail to reply it's because my anxiety is eating me alive but all your comments mean so much so have some of that good karma :') ✌️

After hours of heart pounding I bit the bullet and went on my first 'extended' dual carriageway trip. Bournemouth to Ringwood, don't laugh I know it's only what, 15 minutes but boy did it make me question my ability to drive :'D

First mistake: Really should've put my P plates on for this one. I was on the fence before I left, the wrong side of it lmao

Going to Ringwood wasn't too bad apart from me telling myself I'll be OK. Turned the radio off so I can concentrate on what waze is saying. I did stupidly stall at lights before going onto the carriageway - just nerves and embarrassing.

Now going BACK was in my eyes a disaster. Met a friend who told me oh yeah the regular way to join back onto the carriageway is closed you'll have to go there and there. Great, thank you for telling me this now and not days ago lol spent 15 minutes on maps/waze to figure it out. Have to get back home so no choice 😂😭

Take a slip road into a small towny bit where I'm essentially making a U turn back onto the carriageway. I'm at a junction, have my gap aaand... I stall. I panick, get the car going, and then I stall again, and again, now I'm wedged out into the junction stalled thinking holy crap 😭 bless all the good decent drivers around me for not honking and being patient - god I wish I had those P plates on!!

Second mistake: I was in bloody 3rd gear. I was so ticked off and embarrassed with myself it just made my anxiety rocket and now I had to join a very busy carriageway, luckily it was moving quite slowly so even though the gaps were small I managed. Swear to god I kept veering to the left of the lane because I was shaking people must've thought I was drunk.

I'm home okay, nobody has been injured but honestly think maybe I'm not meant for the road 😭 anyone feel the same? 😂😭
