Air Asia 100% hand luggage weight check @ KLIA2

This morning, i saw a very long queue entering the passenger area. this is after you get the boarding pass and before the immigration counter.

Enquired with the staff and she checked my boarding pass that I am not taking Air Asia flight, I was allowed to skip. Saw that everyone's hand luggage was being counted and weighted. A lot of commotions and arguments overheard from that lot.
