The 101% Official /r/Kirby Star Allies Tournament Where You Can Win Actual Prizes!!!

Wait, what? A contest?? With prizes??? Really????

Heck yeah! Just like with Robobot, remember?

And yes, I plan on having a contest to correspond with every major Kirby release as long as I'm not broke at the time of release.

Okay...so how do I enter?

Submit a screenshot/video of one of the following in the comments below:

• Your best time on Guest Star Mode. You may use whatever friends/multiplayer you'd like.

• Your best score on Ultimate Choice: Soul Melter. Go by yourself. No friends/multiplayer/CPUs allowed.

• Your best score on either version of the Curtain Call Credits. Go by yourself. No friends/multiplayer/CPUs allowed.

Note that you can replay the Curtain Call whenever you want by selecting it in the theater. In other words, you don't have to kill Void Termina a billion times to put in a good score in that last category.

Well that's cool. What happens next?

The most impressive score in each category gets put into a "raffle."

The "raffle" will be a bunch of CPU Kirbys fighting in Battle Royale, one representing each category winner. Whoever's Kirby wins the fight wins the contest.

Sounds neat! But what can I win?

All three winners gets one month of Reddit gold and a special custom flair of their choice.

The first place winner gets to pick any 👉one👈 of the following prizes:

• $60 on the Kirby/HAL merch of your choice (plushies, amiibo, books, etc.)

• $60 eShop card

• $60 Reddit Gold

If you choose the merch, do note that...

• I'm willing to go over by a few dollars as long as you don't go too crazy.

• Part of the $60 will go to shipping. I'm not spending any extra on that.

• Keep it to two or three websites maximum, please.

• You'll have to give me your address so I can send it to you.

How long is this contest going on for?

It ends the night of July 31, 2018. Midnight. PST.

Anything else we should know?

• Ties are allowed. If two of you somehow get the same score then you'll both get entered in the raffle.

• You're allowed to enter more than one category. If you win two categories then you get two raffle entries. If you get all three then you win the tournament by default.

• Some of you have already put your times around other parts of the sub. I accept those entries as long as you link them in the comments below.

FAQ

Does most impressive equate to fastest time, or would an amazing Guest Star run with Bonkers be viewed as more impressive than the fastest Marx run?

Fastest time, no matter the character. You're even allowed to use the "Guest Star Kirby" glitch.

I assume we cannot use CPU allies for Ultimate Choice?

Nope. No CPUs allowed.

Are elements obtained from CPUs allowed during curtain call?

Nope. That would require friend help, which isn't allowed.

So for Guest Star, are you looking at a single run's time or the menu's composite best times?

A single run's time.

Do the scores have to be from after the start of the contest, or can I screenshot an old score from a couple of months ago.
