If I book two separate hotels at different properties for the same nights (1 for me, 1 spouse) do I get Points and Nights for each stay?

Hi I have two make 2 stays for the same night. My wife and I are each traveling to work and want to get points on my account. We will be staying at two different hotels. Will I get points and night credit towards Diamond for each?
