Do antibodies lowering mean anything to you?

Hi Hashis friends! This is a bit of a two-parter question.

I first got diagnosed in 2022. At the point of diagnosis, my TPO AB (Thyroid Perioxidase Antibodies) was >600 (normal range 0-34) and the Thyroglobulin antibodies were at 735.8 (normal range 0-0.9).

Today, my TPO AB was at 443 and for some reason I didn’t get any data on Thyroglobulin antibodies.

So my two part question is: 1. What is the difference between these two kinds of antibodies? And… 2. Recognizing that Hashimoto’s is auto immune in nature, and most doctors only use antibodies for Hashis as a diagnostic tool, does it mean anything to you if your antibody numbers are lowering?

For extra context, my TSH from diagnosis onwards has typically been elevated considered sub-clinical hypothyroidism (think in the 4-6 range) and T4 and T3 are within bounds. I am not nor have I ever been on levothyroxine/synthroid etc. I also have been scanned and had no nodules found! I take regular supplements to help support myself (fish oil, high vitamin D, etc).

Thanks for being a part of this community I’ve learned so much!
