Immune system wrecked

Hi

I've had hsv2 for 6 months now, ans also in that time had some nasty Urinary tract infections that have spread to my kidneys that have needed hospitalisation for IV antibiotics.

I am on immunosuppressants for an autoimmune disease and had a summer of taking steroids for that which also made my my immune system weak.

Last week I has abcesses in my groin from another autoimmune condition and then another UTI so was prescribed 2 broad spectrum antibiotics and this caused C. Difficile bowel infection, I also had a UTI with ecoli and the two of these triggered sepsis so I had a week in hospital very ill and to top it all another out break of HSV2 this time on my finger

I've already had 3 outbreaks of hsv-2 this year, two triggered by waxing.

My usual triggers are alcohol, not taking l lysine or waxing.

It seems my immune system is at absolute rock bottom and will take a long time to recover.

Has anyone else suffered from multiple system issues and managed to have any sense of recovery?

I am going to ask my doctors to put me on a profilactic dose of acyclovir from now on.
