Tuning up with out snapping strings

Has anyone ever tuned up to drop f??? It’s a pretty high tuning but tuned to it once and after playing with it my high e snapped on me, anyone ever tuned up that high with out snapping, or knows how to keep my strings from snapping when tuning up? I’m new to that kind of stuff in guitar so I don’t know things like this? Need help please

I stretch my strings by tuning all my strings up half a step some times to try and make it a little better but i don’t think it’s helping.
