why not at least 1 server for us?

why can we not have even a pve/pvm Australian server, i know it get asked a lot, and constantly turned down, but its just so sad having so many friends irl that refuse to play simply because "no Australian server", i love to play the game, but i always end up getting bored/quitting for long periods because none of my irl friends will play with out an Aussie server..and they would love the game i know they would, so i don't know why we cant get even a non WvWvW server? there's defiantly enough people for it more then enough...between south asia, australia and new Zealand and all surrounding places honestly just makes me depressed sometimes..

edit> Its really hard to agree with anyone on popularity arguments, purely for the fact a huge majority of us are not going keep playing or even try to play purely without a low ping server, yes the game is playable but really its a lot harder then it needs to be, you can not say there's not enough players when a majority wont even touch the game and there has been no effort to try, its pretty clear the current (oce) player numbers are going to be extremely low if they are not given the opportunity at all. run a server and let it die then I'd believe you, at least its shows trying.
