Google Photos not showing all my photos?

I am unable to see all of my photos on my new Pixel 9 pro. I downloaded a third party gallery app and can see them all in that app, but in the stock photos app I cant. I am fully up to date, have tried restarting and clearing the cache multiple times. Any ideas on a fix to this?
