How strong is Atreus in ragnarok?

I noticed that Atreus effortlessly carried a grown deer buck at the start of the game. I have finished the game and i remember him using his strength pretty often, lifting rocks and stuff. How close is he to his father's strength? I would love to hear your thoughts.
