About Hel (Atreus’ daughter), the Giants, and where Atreus and Angrboda are headed to next. [Are they headed to the British isles? Or maybe somewhere else? (Is Hel going to also be the Morrigan?)]

First off I want to touch on the Giants and where they could be. (And yes I know this topic has been regurgitated multiple times, but I still want to talk about it)

So we know that whatever giants survived fled Jotunheim and Midgard, or put their souls into these magical marbles. We don’t know where the Giants went, but based on giants or giant-like mythical creatures we can take a guess as to where they went to.

As for the Cyclops and Titans of Greek mythology, well, there’s no point as to speculation, Greece is destroyed.

Not too far from Greece is the middle-east, where Jerusalem lies. In Abrahamic lore, most notably spoken about in the Bible, are the Nephilim, giant men born of angels and human women. I don’t think that Atreus and Angrboda are headed to the middle-east any time soon, because it’s very out of the way and the Nephilim have too unique of an origin to be the same giants from Norse mythology.

Most likely, they wandered down to the British isles, perhaps specifically to Ireland to become the Fonorians. They would have to have sailed there, which could play on how the Fomorians came from under the sea, at least according to the mythos. This plays a lot into Celtic mythology associating a lot of the spiritual with the Water.

Yet, the thing about the Fomorians is that they are described as demonic creatures, who fought against the god race, the Tuatha Dé Dannan. Perhaps it could be an exaggeration by the gods so they can wage war on these foreigners on their beaches, or perhaps over their journey or some unlucky encounter with some mischievous/evil fairy that proceeded to mutilate their appearance and warp their minds, making them ruthless savages seeking only destruction

On To Hel, Goddess of Death

Hel is the Goddess of Death in Norse mythology. In the GoW games she is the Granddaughter of Kratos _God of Wa. Her mother is Angrboda, a Jotnar who showed Atreus the fate of him and his father.

Morrigan is the Celtic goddess of Fate, Death, and War. Because Hel is the Goddess of Death in Norse mythology, all that would need to happen is for her mother, Angrboda, to teach her how to read fate and for her to inherit her grandfather’s talent for warfare.

If Atreus and Angrboda are in fact leaving Midgard to find the giants and headed to the closest place possible to find them, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England are the closest lands nearby to do so. Angrboda would need to give birth to Morrigan in these lands and have a local Druid give her a Celtic name to be called by as her parents refer to her as Hel, just as how Atreus was named Loki by his mother, yet was called Atreus by his father.

Any thoughts? Am I just crazy?
