Orange Sapphire pendant

My bf got me this a few years ago, I can’t remember how much it was but it was definitely under £100. He bought it off eBay or Etsy. Is it safe to wear everyday? I haven’t worn it in years and I want to wear it again. It looks a bit more orange in person.
