UPS strike = Big wage increase for FEDEXERS??
Should UPS strike, their company will potentially lose $180 million a day and a majority of their 20 million packages per day will be become the responsibility of FEDEX. With FEDEX making millions in extra revenue, will they step up and temporarily bump up wages to provide an incentive for working past 8 hours or 40 hours in a week? I’m thinking double time (maybe plus) for working past 8.
The strike, if it occurs, will be probably be short lived. I’m wondering what kind of logistics are in place to accommodate the volume??
