The Dark Side of Meta: Scams, Silence, Stolen money and Zero Accountability

I’ve been managing my clients’ businesses through a Facebook account for years. But in November, everything changed when I fell into a trap—a SoraAI ad that turned out to be a scam.

💥 What happened next was a disaster:

  • My account was hacked and disabled.
  • I tried every "solution" in Meta's Help Center—none worked.
  • I sent countless emails to Facebook and Meta—no response.
  • I even turned to Threads to tag Suckerberg, Facebook and the Meta team, but the only replies I got were from scammers pretending to help—asking for money in exchange for fake recovery software.

Meanwhile, scammers had access to my account, racking up unauthorized charges on my Facebook Ads. And as the year ended, I couldn’t even download essential invoices for tax purposes.

😤 The last straw?
After hours of frustration, I finally found a way to contact a real person through Meta’s Help Center. I thought I was saved—but no. Instead of recovering my account, they accidentally changed my client's Meta email address!

This ordeal has shown me exactly how Meta operates:

  • Scammers are running wild, exploiting users without fear.
  • Facebook's “support” system is a joke, offering no real help.
  • Small businesses and account managers like me are left stranded, while Meta profits from the chaos.

🌟 My New Year's Resolution:
I will no longer spend my clients’ advertising budgets on a platform that doesn’t care about its users. Meta doesn’t deserve a future.
