Current state of Ganking and Battling loot stealers.. CCP What are we doing about it ?

Dear Capsuleers,

I hope this message finds you well. I wish to address a persistent and disconcerting issue within our community, a problem that has been brought to the forefront through the diligent work of content creators like MacGybo. In particular, I'd like to direct your attention to a comprehensive YouTube video by MacGybo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQj_NVi7Fk8), which is a most recent representation of the ongoing issue in our game. This video explains how the scripts to scoop up loot from gankers works, offering undeniable evidence of cheating.

What compounds the concern is that I, personally, have reported numerous instances of script usage to CCP Games, but regrettably, I have not received any acknowledgment or response regarding my reports. Furthermore, I am aware of several other players who have reported similar issues with no discernible response from CCP Games. This lack of response from the game's developers is both perplexing and deeply unsettling.

This isn't an isolated incident; it's an ongoing problem that has persisted for multiple years. There are numerous videos and posts highlighting the issue, and while some players have been banned, others continue to operate with impunity. In fact, as I write this message, the players featured in the YouTube video are still active within the game, it's not old footage, there's lots of people like this, not only in Jita, all around the space.

The integrity of our game is at stake, as well as the trust and enjoyment of our dedicated player base. Cheating undermines the very principles that make EVE Online a compelling universe of competition and strategy.

It's imperative that we, as a community, address this issue and demand a response from CCP Games. We must urge them to take immediate action to ensure that the game we love maintains its fairness and integrity. Transparent communication and swift intervention are crucial.

It's worth noting that the ganking community in EVE Online, although not large, is made up of highly respectable players. They, too, are calling for an even playing field rather than having to combat script users on a daily basis. Let's come together to protect the core principles of our shared virtual universe, ensuring that it remains a space of genuine competition, strategy, and camaraderie.
