Has ebay gotten better with dealing with chargebacks?
A few years ago I sold a phone. The buyer did a chargeback stating it was not authorized. Ebay created a refund and they buyer got the money back and KEPT my phone. I contact ebay and all they did was say contact paypal and Paypal did nothing to help me. Multiple phone calls resulted in same thing " we are sorry this happened to you".
What is the procedure if this happens now? All I do when I sell something worth a high dollar amount is ask the buyer to send a message stating " this transaction is authorized".
Is there anything else I can do to protect myself?
