It's impossible to talk well about Veilguard in any sub about games in my country (Brazil) without being embarrassed

I can't even dare to say anything good about Veilguard in any Brazilian sub about games. The narrative there is that the game would be horrible and that's it.

They even told me that the narrative is objectively bad, and that those who think it's good either hate yourself or don't understand anything about narrative.

It's impossible to say anything positive without being downvoted to oblivion. It's impossible to engage in any discussion about it, you're already cursed and that's it.

It's unfortunate, the gamers' brains have been corroded by this anti-woke wave.

It's become an epidemic, a disease. In my country they use the term "lacração", and Veilguard is being accused of being "lacrador" (woke) and that's why the game would be horrible.

There are still those who pretend to want to argue saying that even leaving aside the woke issue, the game is no good and that's it. It's sad. Veilguard has flaws, yes, there are things that could be better, yes, but damn, it's not possible that it's not possible to say absolutely anything good about the game without being discredited and ridiculed.

Despite its flaws, I'm really loving Veilguard. I'm playing it non-stop to get all the endings and all the romances.

It's not possible that liking Veilguard is considered so sinful for such bizarre and stupid reasons.
