I’m backkkk (with a smaller ring)!

Hi! I’m back… idk if you remember, but I posted about my 3 ct pear on a size 4 finger, wondering if it was too big!

Well, that turned into a whole saga. I told the store that I bought it from that I would like to return it, so they began that process for me. Asked me to go in and return it immediately… I stalled. A while. They were naturally hounding me, but I just couldn’t decide. I finally dropped the ring off to them. Only to run back 20 minutes later thinking I made the biggest mistake.. thinking to myself, “maybe it wasn’t too big.” I barged in frantically, told them, “Never mind! I want it!” Put it back on my finger, and was immediately re-validated by my inner voice (she always knows) “No, no… it’s not the right size.” So, ultimately gave in and gave it back. (They had to have thought I was crazy.)

I think what also crushed me, was I was going to have to wait about a month to get my new ring back. No instant gratification… what!?

And, of course, I was so worried I was going to get the new ring, and think it was now too small.

Well, she arrived, baby… just in time for my wedding this weekend (peep my fresh wedding nails, too), and, alas, it was the right call! Feels like the absolutely perfect ring and was so worth the roller coaster.

It’s a 2.5 carat (so just a bit smaller), but feels perfect now! 🥰🥰🥰 I know many on my previous post commented on the height of the setting, but that actually wasn’t anything I wanted to change at all. I like the drama of it.

I’ll try and go back to that post to answer questions that were made. There were lots of comments!
