I'm scared to play with randoms

I'm not entirely sure why, to be honest. In other 4 player coop games like vermin/darktide I do it all the time, but with deep rock, I almost exclusively play solo or with my fiancé. Maybe its the server browser and no quickplay option? I love the community here and pretty much everywhere I find them outside of the game, but I never interact with them in game.
