Controversial Take

After multiple play throughs and completely diving in the lore of the game i honestly think LT James O’Brian was a good guy and he really got fcked. Taking into account how deacon feels about him and the whole situation i feel like the guy tried his best for a stranger he didnt know. He broke protocol, several times during and after the outbreak for deacon he saved deacons wifes life, he did his best to help deacon find her, even when he tried to help deacon at wizards camp he showed up but what can you do in a situation like that? All for it to end with his utterly depressing transformation into the things hes been studying… idk what do you guys think? I feel he deserves some love and recognition.
