T4 Cyclone and T4 Cyclone Pro
I have tried these new Gamesir controllers and I wanted to share my opinions about them in case anyone is interested. There are two versions T4 Cyclone (white) and T4 Cyclone Pro (black). Very similar to Xbox and G7 gamepads with basic features at these prices: analog triggers, motion, vibration... These are the main features: •Typical back buttons, programmable to various options. •Hall effect sticks and triggers, they work very well and can not have drift. •Adapter to hold phone, good option but not included the grip. •Bluetooth, type C and low latency dongle connections, nice to have dongle option. •Type C cable included, although not very long (1 meter) •Motion control •Customization of dead zone, vibration intensity, abxy layout and trigger mode. The difference from the pro version is the abxy layout, trigger vibration and mechanical buttons. In addition, it includes the low latency dongle. Honestly, I don't know if the pro version is worth it for the price, it makes me upset because I prefer black version.
What I liked most about the controller is the feeling in the hand. Very ergonomic and the roughness at the ends helps prevent it from slipping. In general it is very complete which makes it more versatile (use on mobile, PC, for emulators). And hall effect sticks and triggers are the future honestly.
What I liked the least are the buttons. I suppose it's a personal issue, but the rounded buttons don't convince me and the press is not very mechanical, although they supposedly can withstand longer presses. It also seems like a mistake to me that the low latency dongle or mobile support have not been added due to the price in both versions. I don't know, what do you think?
