God has favourites.

Can someone explain me, how God could not have favourites? Let's see the verse Romans 2:11: "God does not play favorites". I know I am stupid but Paul is the one who wrote this. But Paul wrote this because he is one of God's favourites of course. God has favourites. Even "Jacob I loved, Esau I hated" proves it.

I know I am stupid but please, can anyone explain this to me correctly?
