CSR - Why do you continue to keep this card?
I have been a chase customer since 2017, starting with a Prime Visa. I got CFU this summer for the travel protections and points. Booked an international flight for three passengers this past summer using the portal, with connections, and had zero issues. I found their customer service to be outstanding, and always have in the (very) rare instances I've needed help with an Amazon purchase. One year, I had a very tricky fraudulent purchase on the card, and Chase was on it immediately when I reported it - zero issues, ever.
Fast forward to end of this year - I decided to get a CSR card because I thought the SUB (standard 4k / 60k point offer), the points, the insurance, and the lounge access would all have some value to justify the (essentially) $250 AF. As I am nearing retirement, my intl and domestic travel has increased.
So, I have been reading a lot of shade on this subreddit and in the media in general about CSR. The lounge access is poor, lounge quality poor (except SEA), customer service poor, insurance claims process poor, the portal is not be trusted for flight booking / seat selection and price comparison is poor relative to direct, etc, etc.
Makes me question my decision -- to those of you who stick with this card, why? Does this sub have any satisfied CSR customers? Am I the last fool to have signed up for this card?
edit: SEA - southeast Asia, not Sea - Tac. Also, the above complaints / observations are not my personal complaints or issues with the card - they are what I am reading ~after~ I got the card. :- /
