A thank you to Andrew and JJ

I hesitate to post this because no one cares what I think or feel, but here goes anyway.

I'm suffering from a heavy depression. Have been for a long time. Likely will for the rest of my life. I'm utterly broken and just hanging on the best that I can. I'm not "going away", so please don't flag this post or offer any advice. I've got a wonderful wife and two tremendous kids, so I'm sticking around for them.

JJ's retelling of a Soprano's episode at the beginning of the "A design for life" episode helped me re-frame my perspective (ever so slightly).

"You make the best decisions the best way you can. You live with the consequences. And along the way, you take your pleasures where you can get them."

This podcast has become one of my few pleasures. This podcast is a silver lining around the dark cloud of entropy that is my life. So much so that I subscribed to the Plus side and binged all of the bonus content over the last two days. And I will likely listen to each of the episodes multiple times because you both have so much fun talking about soccer and being good friends to each other.

Thank you Andrew and JJ for creating a fun, entertaining, and surprisingly educational podcast that helps brighten my otherwise dark days.
