Advanced warning system almost caused an accident

Driving home today from soccer coaching, family in the car. Car in front turns right and is clear I continue to drive and the advanced warning system applied the breaks to a full stop. Scared the crap out of me and my family, car behind us had to slam on their breaks. And now my neck is sore from the whiplash.

“Were you too close” I hear you ask

Listen, love my wife but she’s a nervous passenger. Even she said I was clear, and I can tell you that she would have told me had I not been.

I know I can switch this safety system off but jeez that was not fun today.
