Dealer wants to flush my rear differential at 36k miles

Hello - My dealership here in MD is asking if they can go ahead and flush the rear differential fluid at 36k miles on my '20 CX-5 turbo. I asked why since Mazda doesn't list that as a service in the manual unless the rear differential has been submerged. I denied their request since it seems like an unnecessary service. Anyone else have this experience ?
