36 Yr Old Dad - Here I go
Long time lurker here and just wanted to give a shout out to all the late-bloomers on this sub. You're the inspiration for me to go after this. It's really something to read all the stories of people who weren't satisfied with their lot in life and wanted more out of their careers, and then actually acted on it.
I have a mediocre accounting education, so I'll basically be studying all this stuff from scratch. I don't come from an accounting background and I'm hoping the CPA will give me enough credibility on my resume so I can pivot into a finance/acct. role.
I'm fully committed to grinding this bitch out until I pass. Any must-know advice before I start is appreciated! (I'm using becker)
